Becoming a Johnno’s agent is a major step, and understandably you will have many questions.
Likewise you’ll be asked many questions by friends, family and advisers.
So we’ve focused on the most important details based on questions from members who were once standing in your shoes.
- How much capital will I require?
Initially we would expect Agents to invest between $58,500 and $70,000 depending upon your start-up and initial marketing plans. - What experience do I need?
We do not expect you to have specific retailing or camping industry experience, as our documented system, and package of training and support will equip you to operate to our required standards. - Will I be able to sell my franchise?
Yes, you can sell your Johnno’s Camper Trailer business just like any other business. However, we will want to vet the incoming franchisee in the same way as we vet you. - If accepted as a Johnno’s Agent how long will it take to start my business?
This depends on how quickly you can find yourself a suitable location whether you choose to operate as a home-based business or set up a shop front. However the beauty of the Johnno’s system is that you can undertake your training one day and virtually open for business the next. - How much money will I make?
Johnno’s Australia Pty. Ltd. provides you with a business blueprint and the tools to help you make the business a success. Your success will depend on how you use the blueprint and the tools at your disposal. - Does Johnno’s Australia offer any financial assistance?
No, however we can guide you through the key funding decisions and introduce you to appropriate advisors who have a working knowledge of the Johnno’s Camper Trailer system. - Can I sell other camping related products? Absolutely, as long as they are Johnno’s approved products from our preferred suppliers. However you cannot sell independently sourced products that are in any way competitive to the Johnno’s product range or that do not meet our stringent standards.
- What If I don’t wish to sell trailers, only hire them?
All Johnno’s Agents have a minimum trailer sales requirement of three trailers per year.
